Domino Designer / : Allow an easier way to include newer versions of Dojo on the application level

I would like an easier way to include newer versions of Dojo in my xPages applications. I would like to be able to choose on the application level which version of Dojo to use, similar to how we can choose a theme.

 

The development cycle for Dojo is faster than the version for Domino. Allowing an easier way to upgrade or downgrade the version of Dojo used by the application will allow for developers to take advantage of Dojo's faster development schedule. This is also one of the reasons why IBM started with the extension library. To allow cutting edge application work without having to make sure that things are backward compatible.

 

As of now if you want to upgrade to a newer version of Dojo you have to upgrade the entire server, and it is a giant pain to downgrade the Dojo version for a particular application that doesn't work. If there is an easier way to do this please let me know in the comments...
